Aloha Milan!

This week the gentlemen of Milan are in full bravado, walking to and from a bevy of runway shows with the strut and swagger of, well, a peacock. Is there any better metaphor? Fashion's elite crowd of models, designers, editors, celebrities, and very fancy enthusiasts have descended upon Milan, and as usual they're wearing some of the world's most enviable clothing. And as much as we love the parade, we're also relieved when an of-the-moment trend is something that you, and anyone, really, can pick up right this second.

That's why we're so stoked at the influx of Hawaiian shirts on the streets of Italy's high fashion capital. It seems that everyone who isn't wearing a suit is wearing some version of the patterned vacation shirt. Best of all, no two are the same. There's the classic flora and fauna, small prints on blackout shirts, indigo discharge patterns, and even some abstracted plant forms. Something for everyone you might say, to which we say: Hell yeah!

Thinking about taking the trend out for a spin? Just remember, you can tuck it in, leave it out, button it up, or let it hang wide open. But across the board we're seeing them layered over a simple white crewneck and worn with a boss pair of shades. Here are four we're digging right now:
